Hi Chris!
What does 'chief engineer' mean (I'm not familiar with the "what's" or "how's" of video production). I didn't know that you studied at The New School! Were you out in NYC at that time? ("two ships passing...")
Thanks for the question. Chief Engineer means I am in charge of all things technology wise. I'm on-call 24/7 if any computers stop working, My primary responsibility is to make sure our signal gets to our transmitter and broadcast though RF to our viewers. Basically, we have a large antenna that produces signal for everyone to watch on their TV. If I don't do my job, viewers cannot watch our TV station.
I received my masters degree at The New School. It was an excellent program. I focused on the social impacts of photography.
I'm proud to be working in the field again. Yet, it's difficult.
